Heartland Co-op has started development on a new expansion in Dallas County just north of Minburn, IA. The company’s project includes three grain bins, a receiving pit and an elevation leg that are to be constructed this summer. The expansion will benefit Heartland’s member-customers, the City of Minburn and surrounding communities. The Greater Dallas County Development Alliance has provided assistance to the company throughout their project. “The efforts of The Alliance are greatly appreciated as they have been very helpful in the process thus far,” said John Braymen, West Region Manager of Heartland Co-op. Heartland Co-op, a grain and farm supply cooperative selling a full range of inputs including grain, feed, agronomy inputs, and petroluem serves more than 5,300 members at 52 cooperative locations across Iowa.
