Alex Lynch
Executive Director

Alex Lynch joined the GDCDA team in January of 2021 as the executive director. This is his third role in economic development, with experience at the federal and local levels. Lynch earned his Certified Economic Development designation(CEcD) in 2018. He enjoys working in partnership with our communities, developers, and existing businesses to create a positive impact in the region.
Jeremy Voss
Project Manager

While he’s the newest member of the GDCDA team, Voss is no stranger to economic development. Bringing four years of experience to his role, Voss is well-versed in rural economic development and housing development. As a grant writer, he has an impressive 70 percent success rate and understands the connections between community marketing, community visioning, community strategic planning, tourism and economic development. Oss earned his Master of Business Administration degree from Texas A&M University-San Antonio, where he specialized in international business and enterprise resource technology. A disabled veteran who served with the U.S. Army, Voss received a Purple Heart while leading an infantry team in Iraq.
Julie Johnson
Project Manager

There are lots of reasons why Johnson is a go-to expert for community leaders and businesses in Dallas County. Johnson brings 14 years of experience to her role, where she manages the GDCDA’s existing and new business programs. She’s a resource for existing businesses seeking project assistance. She also recruits new business and helps with site certification for properties in Dallas County. As a Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Johnson also is ready to help develop strategies to promote sustainability.
Kathleen Olson
Office Manager

Kathy provides administrative support to The Alliance. She brings with her years of administrative experience in the use of office technology to manage processes and procedures as well as event planning. Kathy is a Certified Profession Secretary as well as CompTia A+ certified in both hardware and software. She earned her B.A. degree in Organizational Administration from the University of Northwestern-St Paul, St. Paul, MN.
